Hi everyone! Unfortunately, we are going to be postponing the troubadour show to June 25th. If you got a ticket and if the world is less wacky by then - you can still go. Since there is no longer a release show, I’ve decided to release the live record early. The good news is it’s loud as hell, so you don’t have to even go out to a show to suffer hearing loss! Over the next year, I’ll be donating the profits from the album to the World Central Kitchen - a charity who offers affordable & free meals to families in need of support and Sweet Relief - a charity that helps out musicians and music industry workers affected by the pandemic. If you’ve ordered a physical vinyl it will still be coming out April 16th. We just wanted to rush the digital release to put some positive energy out into the world. Bless

Hear Current Joys tear through a live set of fan favorites recorded last winter at Kilby Court in Salt Lake City, Utah. This 14 track double LP is the first time one of Current Joys' visceral live performances has been captured for vinyl and released digitally online. The four-piece plays full-band arrangements of Current Joys classics like "Blondie" "Kids" and "My Motorcycle" as well as a new unreleased track "Altered States."

I'm a sucker for lyrics. This song is a beautiful sadness to end a summer with. I love every track on this album but this one is comfortable to me, for better or worse.
